Rich history, world-famous beer, and beautiful sights make the Czech Republic worth visiting! Check out its best cities!
Prague
Charles Bridge, one of Prague's most famous landmarks, is home to thirty Baroque statues that were built in the 17th and 18th centuries. Unless you don't mind squeezing through the throngs, it is highly advised to come early during the day or wait until later in the evening. Visit the impressive Hradčany castle complex, which houses Pražský hrad (Prague Castle), on the western bank of the Vltava River. Here you'll be surrounded by buildings that were created in various styles as early as the ninth century. You can also get some amazing views of the city and back across the river.
Brno
There is an abundance of local craft beer pubs, cafés, architectural delights and museums to be found in Brno, a university city that is brimming with student enthusiasm. The second-largest city in the nation, Brno, is home to numerous astounding historic structures, including the Špilberk Castle and the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, as well as several contemporary jewels. Due to its appearance on the 10Kč coin, the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul is fairly popular throughout the nation! The cathedral has free admission. It can be convenient to bring refreshments or snacks when visiting the cathedral because Petrov Hill offers a breathtaking view over Brno's suburbs and Špilberk Castle. Regarding landmarks, Brno's Astronomical Clock is a modern one.
Olomouc
Olomouc, a historic university city, is a hidden gem that needs to be experienced. This city is a great destination that can be especially alluring to young, budget travelers who are looking for some more authentic insights by swerving off the usual tourist path and experiencing what it's like to live as locals do in the Czech Republic. It has to offer plenty of history, stunning architecture, the vibrancy of student life, a prospering local craft beer scene, and its prestigious Moravian wine. Olomouc is home to two amazing attractions- the spectacular Saint Wenceslas Cathedral and the Holy Trinity Column. The Holy Trinity Column is listed on the UNESCO monument list and is considered to be the largest free-standing Baroque sculpture in Central Europe.
